My passion for the CEO program started when I heard about the mission. I love working with youth and helping them find their passions. I have often preached to others "Figure out what you love, and find a way to get paid for it." I am looking forward to using my knowledge and connections to build relationships and learning for the students of the Cottonwood/Jackson CEO program. I am a lifelong learner who enjoys gaining new experiences and developing my toolkit of resources. 

I have been working in the business world for as long as I can remember; as my parents were business owners and many dinners around the table included business talk. I enjoy seeing the idea phase through development and look forward to the opportunity to work with the students this year on their ideas. 

I’m Sharon Henning, an entrepreneur, business owner, and community leader with a strong background in marketing and small business development. I previously served as the Chamber Director in Jackson, Minnesota, supporting local business growth and community initiatives. For the past 7 years, I’ve owned and operated Cosmos + Clover Boutique, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, branding, and operations. I live outside of Windom with my husband, Ben of Henning Rental, and our two kids, Logan and Harper. As a facilitator, I’m passionate about helping students think like entrepreneurs, build confidence, take initiative, and develop real-world skills they can carry into their future.
